A major Kent road is shut to traffic due to a ‘serious’ crash and oil spill today (Sunday, January 30).
The A21 is blocked in both directions as a result of the incident, which took place between Cryals Road and the A262 in Kipping’s Cross.
The road is closed between Kipping’s Cross and Goudhurst.

The collision and road closure was first reported by Inrix, the traffic data company, at around 2.57pm.
Two cars were involved in the incident, which saw an oil spillage and a spillage of diesel.
Inrix said: “A21 in both directions blocked, queueing traffic due to serious accident, two cars involved, oil spillage and spillage of diesel from Cryals Road (Blue Boys Roundabout, Kipping’s Cross) to A262 (Forstal Farm Roundabout, Lamberhurst).
“Congestion to Dundale Road and the B2160 Maidstone Road through Matfield as traffic diverts around the closure.
“Affecting traffic between Tonbridge and Hawkhurst.”
