SEATTLE — Seattle police arrested two suspects in a Halloween shooting in the Chinatown-International District that injured two people.

The shooting happened on 12th Avenue South and South Jackson Street around 5 p.m. Police said two men, about 35 and 40 years old, were both shot in the leg. They were taken to Harborview Medical Center.

On Nov. 1, officers patrolling the area of 10 Avenue East and East Dearborn Street at 9 p.m. saw a vehicle they believed was involved in the Oct. 31 shooting. Officers said they pulled the car over and confirmed the two people inside were suspects in the shooting.

Police took the driver, a 29-year-old man, and a 33-year-old woman, into custody.

Detectives said they obtained a search warrant for the car and seized three guns, various narcotics, and additional evidence that tied the couple to the shooting.
